100 Years of Golf

INVERNESS GOLF CLUB
Celebrating 100 Years of Golf

IGC Members,

As we look ahead to Inverness Golf Club’s Centennial Year, we wanted to share more about what is planned for our Centennial Weekend and how it fits into a broader, year-long celebration of our Club.

The Centennial Weekend serves as the Club’s premier summer social occasion—providing members with an opportunity to gather, commemorate our legacy, and experience Inverness Golf Club at its finest. This will be our “Summer Party” for 2026.

If capacity allows, guests will be invited to take part in weekend events, giving members the opportunity to share this celebration with friends and family while keeping the focus on our membership.

Beyond the weekend, the Centennial is a year-long journey—intended to highlight our Club, celebrate its legacy, and create positive energy throughout the season. Centennial branding, storytelling, events, and enhancements across the Club will showcase Inverness Golf Club to our members and guests alike, reinforcing pride in who we are while supporting continued interest in membership.

Centennial Funding Supports:

  • A new historical green book created for and distributed to all members
  • Centennial pin flags flown on greens throughout the season and raffled to members at the end of the season
  • Centennial decor and historical displays throughout the Club and Club events
  • A quality commemorative Centennial bag tag for golf members
  • A quality commemorative gift tied to Centennial for social members (in development)
  • Additional Centennial enhancements are still being finalized

This is a rare moment in the life of a club. Our goal is to make the Centennial year feel meaningful, visible, and celebratory—honoring our past while positioning Inverness strongly for the future.

We look forward to sharing more as plans continue to take shape and, most importantly, to celebrating together.
